How to map new learning in community to terms that may have been used in the past? Open Access and National Live Online

Question for the community…. I’m trying to connect the known to the new...Are the events here facilitated by a live trainer?  Are sessions here the same as what was once in our National Live Online Calendar?  or something different?    Where can we find Open Access Recordings ?

Getting colleagues and parents on board!

Hello educators! 👋Question: How do you explain structured literacy to parents and colleagues who have misconceptions about the science of reading? What is your science of reading elevator pitch? With so many myths about reading (kids will just learn to pick it up with exposure to books and silent reading 😒), there’s a lot of work we need to do to ensure that everyone is up to speed! I like to recommend that people listen to Sold a Story so that Emily Hanford can do some of the explaining. 😀
