Manual Import Issues and Errors: Missing Import Button
Overview
Manual import allows you to import comma-separated (.csv) or tab-separated (.tsv) spreadsheet files of staff and student information into myLexia.com. This article explains some reasons why you might not see the Import button in myLexia.

Applies to: Educators and Administrators who have myLexia District Admin access, and some Educators and Administrators who have School Admin access to myLexia.
Why can’t I see the Import button?
Possible cause: Insufficient Permissions
If your myLexia user account does not have the appropriate permissions, you will not be able to import staff or student data into myLexia, and the import button will not be displayed on the Manage > Students page. The following table shows the permissions to import staff or student data in myLexia:

*District Admins can enable this setting for the district so that all school admins can run imports within their assigned school. To allow School Admins to run imports, in myLexia, go to the Settings > General > Site Settings > Security section, and enable the “Allow School Admins to run imports & exports” setting.
Possible cause: One or more students is selected
If you have selected one or more students in the Manage > Students screen, the Import button will not be visible. De-select any selected students before attempting to import.
