Switch multiple students from PowerUp to Core5

Typically, if you create a new account for a student in grades six and up, they will be automatically assigned to PowerUp, but you can manually assign them to Core5.

Changing student program assignment is done by editing individual student accounts, therefore you can only switch one student at a time from PowerUp to Core5.How do I Assign a PowerUp student to Core5?

However, educators and administrators who have School Admin and District Admin accounts in myLexia have the ability to reset multiple student accounts at once. See How to Reset Student Accounts in myLexia.

The myLexia setting: Highest Grade Assigned to Core5 and the student's grade in myLexia determine whether students are automatically assigned to Core5 or PowerUp after their accounts are reset.

If the reset accounts are assigned to grade 5 or below in myLexia, they will typically be automatically assigned to Core5. Admins who have the highest-level admin access in their site also have the ability to adjust the Highest Grade Assigned to Core5 setting.

Since resetting placement deletes all student account history, Lexia recommends saving or printing student reports before doing so.
