Add Aspire Participants to Cohorts

Overview

Course managers with Owner or Cohort Manager permissions can create custom groups called cohorts in Lexia Aspire​® Professional Learning.

AnAspirecohort is a group of participants in Aspire.

This article explains how to add participants to an existing cohort.

Course managers with License Manager or View Only permission can view cohorts, but cannot create them or make changes to them.

Applies to: Course managers with Owner or Cohort Manager permission for the Lexia Aspire​® Professional Learning course of study.

Does not apply to: Course managers with License Manager or View Only permission, or educators who are enrolled in the Lexia Aspire​® Professional Learning course of study.

Add Participants

  1. Log in to lexiaaspire.com.

  2. Select the Manage menu, then select Cohorts from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select a cohort.

  4. Select Add Members.

    • If you are adding participants to a pathway cohort, keep in mind that participants can only be in one pathway cohort at a time.

    • Search participants by name, location, job title, grade, or role. Participants who are already members of the cohort will not appear in the list.

    In order to appear in the list, participants must already have an account in the Aspire learning platform.

  5. Check the boxes next to any participants you would like to add to the cohort. Then select Update Cohort.
