Didn't Receive myLexia Password Reset Email

Overview

This article offers tips on what to do if you requested a password reset but haven’t received the reset email.

Applies to: Educators who have myLexia teacher or administrator accounts in schools or districts where passwords are manually managed.

Does not Apply to: Educators who do not have an account set up in myLexia, or whose passwords are managed by their school or district.

If you don’t know if you have an account in myLexia, or if your school or district uses automated tools for rostering, check with your school or district myLexia administrator.

I tried to reset my password and didn’t receive an email.

If you requested a password reset, you should receive an email within a few minutes. If it’s been more than a few minutes and you haven’t received the email, try the following:

  • Check your spam folder.

  • Wait a few more minutes. School or district spam filters may delay the delivery of password reset emails.

  • Make sure you entered the email address associated with your myLexia account, not a personal email address.

  • Make sure that you entered the correct email address -- if there has been a change to your email address since your myLexia account was set up, contact your myLexia school or district administrator.

  • Your myLexia administrator should be able to change your password, and if necessary, change the email address used for your myLexia account.
