Didn't Request myLexia Password Reset
Overview
This article is for teachers and admins who are concerned because they received a password reset request that they did not initiate.
Applies to: Educators who have myLexia teacher or administrator accounts in schools or districts where passwords are manually managed.
Does not Apply to: Educators who do not have an account set up in myLexia, or whose passwords are managed by their school or district.
If you don’t know if you have an account in myLexia, or if your school or district uses automated tools for rostering, check with your school or district myLexia administrator.
Why did I receive an email saying I requested to have my myLexia password reset?
If you received a password reset email, but you did not ask to have your password reset, someone else may have selected "Forgot Password?" at the myLexia login page and entered your email address.
The only way to change your password is by selecting on the link in the email you received, so if you receive a notification for a password reset that you did not request, you can ignore it. However, if you have questions or concerns about your account, contact Lexia Support.
