What is a LETRS course manager?

Overview

In the Lexia® LETRS® learning platform, there are four course manager permissions. Course managers with any permission have access to view their LETRS implementations. This article explains some of the things course managers can do, as well as lists the types of course manager permissions.

Applies to: Course managers with Owner, License Manager, Cohort Manager, or View Only permission for Lexia® LETRS®.

Course manager permissions

Depending on the course manager permission, course managers may be able to:

  • Manage any of the LETRS courses in their implementation

  • Add participants to the learning platform

  • Assign and unassign LETRS participant licenses

  • Create and manage cohorts

  • Monitor participant progress

  • Grant course manager permissions to others

Course managers do not need a license to perform course management or to monitor participant progress in the LETRS learning platform. Therefore, a LETRS implementation can add as many course managers as needed.

What are the four types of course manager permissions?

A course manager’s permissions determine their level of access in the LETRS learning platform.

Course managers can have any of these permissions:

  • Owner

  • License Manager

  • Cohort Manager

  • View Only

See LETRS Course Manager Permissions for detailed information about course manager permissions.
