LETRS Coaching: Licensing FAQ
LETRS Coaching supports educators who have completed LETRS in translating theory into practice by focusing on classroom applications of LETRS principles. Educators receive one school year of support from a LETRS coach to work through goal-focused coaching cycles, including one-to-one live online coaching sessions and ongoing asynchronous feedback and reflection.
This article answers some frequently asked questions about LETRS Coaching licenses.
Applies to: Administrators of an implementation with participants who have completed a course of study in Lexia® LETRS® and are continuing their professional learning journey in Lexia® LETRS® Coaching.
What are the start and end dates for LETRS Coaching licenses for the 2025-2026 school year?
All LETRS Coaching licenses purchased for the 2025-2026 school year will become active on July 21, 2025. Licenses are considered active on any day between the start and end dates of the license set, not including the end date.
The start and end dates apply to all licenses within the set, regardless of when they are assigned or when participants log in for the first time.
How are LETRS Coaching licenses assigned?
Lexia Customer Support will contact a designated district point of contact to obtain a list of participating educators, verify their eligibility, and assign licenses to them. Licenses will be available to be assigned when they become active on July 21, 2025.
What are the start and end dates for unassigned LETRS Coaching licenses?
All licenses in the license set, whether they are assigned or unassigned, have the same start date (July 21, 2025) and end date (July 20, 2026). Unassigned licenses will expire on the license set end date.
Assign all available licenses to participants as close to your start date as possible. All licenses expire on the license set end date, regardless of when they are assigned.
Can I change or stagger the start date of our licenses?
No. The intention of LETRS Coaching is for educators to receive intensive and sustained instruction, which lasts for an entire school year. Because of this, there is a standard start and end date for all participants.
Once licenses are active, when do participants start working with their LETRS coaches?
LETRS coaches will collaborate with principals or other instructional leaders at your school or district to identify the exact date within your back-to-school period to start working with educators.
