Setting Up ClearFrame API Integration with Core5 (Indiana Only)

Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the integration between the ClearFrame API and Lexia​®​ Core5​®​ Reading. This integration is available for Indiana corporations only and enables ILEARN assessment data to be securely integrated into myLexia.com to support standards-aligned instruction and reporting.

Before You Begin

Before you begin, make sure:

• The Corporation Test Coordinator (CTC) or School Test Coordinator (STC) has access to the CRS API Connection Manager.

• A user with District Administrator access in myLexia is available to complete the integration setup.

• Student accounts in myLexia include the correct State Student ID (SSID).

• Your corporation participates in Indiana ILEARN assessments.

How do I set up integration between the ClearFrame API and Core5?

Create a Connection in CRS

1. Log in to the Centralized Reporting System (CRS).

2. Navigate to the API Connection Manager.

3. Select Lexia Core5 Reading from the list of approved vendors.

4. Select the assessment data to share: ILEARN Checkpoints (ELA).

5. Select Generate Connection Code.

6. Copy the generated connection code.

Connect in Lexia (myLexia)

1. Log in to myLexia.

2. Navigate to Settings.

3. Locate the ClearFrame Connection page.

4. Paste the connection code into the CA Connection Code field.

5. Select Verify Code.

Confirm Connection

• Confirm that the Confirmation Code was successfully verified.

• Confirm student records are matched using State Student IDs (SSID).

• After the initial nightly sync, assessment data will automatically appear in myLexia once it is released in CRS.

Access and Use Data in myLexia

After setup, educators can:

• View ILEARN data within class-level reporting.

• Group students based on demonstrated Instructional needs.

• Access Core5 Lessons and teacher-led Instructional resources aligned to standards.

Data Updates

• Assessment data is automatically sent when released in CRS.

• Includes all selected Checkpoint administrations and Summative results (if enabled).

• No manual uploads are required after setup.

Troubleshooting

• Connection unsuccessful: Generate a new connection code and reconnect.

• Students not appearing: Verify SSIDs match between CRS and Lexia.

• No data visible: Confirm data has been released in CRS and selected during setup.
