This article explains where to find the ​Lexia English Language Development™️ Student Overview report and what information is included in the report.

What is the Lexia English Student Overview report in myLexia?

The Lexia English Student Overview report provides details on the student's usage, progress, and performance in the Lexia English online student program.

The Student Overview report will help you answer the following questions:

  • How much progress has my student made?

  • What are my student's performance trends?

  • How did my student perform in the Presentation of Knowledge units?

  • Where does my student need more support?

What information is included in the Lexia English Student Overview report?

The Lexia English Student Overview report contains the following information:

  • Progress and Usage: Displays how much the student has completed their current level, how many units within the level they completed so far, and when was their last date of use.

  • Activity Accuracy: Provides the student's accuracy percentages across the Speaking, Listening, and Grammar units within an individual activity. These percentages are updated as the student works through the activity and presents trends in the aforementioned three domains of performance.  

  • Encounter Details: Displays how many minutes the student spent on each encounter, how many units they completed, and how they performed in the Presentation of Knowledge unit at the end of each encounter.

  • Activity Lesson: Indicates if a student is recommended for a Lexia Lesson®️ based on their Presentation of Knowledge scores. Lexia Lessons are recommended at the activity level and are only assigned if a student has scored below 80% in a Presentation of Knowledge unit, with students who score below 50% considered as high priority for offline instruction.

Where do I find the Lexia English Student Overview report in myLexia?

To find the Lexia English Student Overview report:

 

  1. In myLexia, select the Lexia English tab to view your Class Overview page.

    Do you have more than one class set up in myLexia? Use the My Other Classes dropdown to choose another class.

    For administrators, selecting the Lexia English tab will take you to the District or School reports page by default. To see the Student Overview, select a school from the District Overview. Then, select a class from the School Overview.

  2. Select a student's name to access their Student Overview page.

How do I print or save the Lexia English Student Overview report?

To print and/or download the Lexia English Student Overview report:

 

  1. From the Student Overview, select Print to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select Student Overview to generate a PDF of the Student Overview report.
