What is Thin Common Cartridge integration?
Thin Common Cartridge integration allows for schools and districts to import and export materials through their Learning Management System (LMS), portal, or other learning platform. This allows for materials to be available through a school or district's digital library or catalog.
How does Thin Common Cartridge integration work with Lexia?
Lexia offers Thin Common Cartridge integration for Lexia® Core5® Reading, Lexia® PowerUp Literacy®, and Lexia English Language Development™ Skill Builders.
Lexia Skill Builders are a component of the Lexia adaptive blended learning model, recommended for students who have completed online activities. Skill Builders provide an opportunity for students to practice literacy skills, build automaticity, and expand expressive language.
By loading the TCC files in an LMS, districts can allow educators to search and access Skill Builders through open web links. The content is hosted by Lexia.
The Thin Common Cartridge includes metadata for the Skill Builders, including the aligned academic standards (CCSS, Texas TEKS, Virginia SOL, and Illinois are supported).
