For Lexia English Students
We enhanced students’ views of their progress within the program, including:
adding the ability on the Home screen for students to see their weekly progress in both units and time completed
updating the Home, Act, and Encounters pages to show current level, number of acts in that level, associated characters, and encounters completed and remaining
We added Native Language Support (Spanish) in Levels 1–4.
Students who have Native Language support enabled will now be able to access directions and media audio in Spanish after hearing them in English.
We added the student avatar to the login confirmation screen to further cement the relationship between the student and their avatar.
We made data-driven updates to program units in Grammar and Listening as well as Presentation of Knowledge units to support student engagement and maintain assessment integrity.
We made accessibility updates, including adding:
keyboard navigation throughout the full program
a new volume control slider in the Audio menu
We enhanced speech recognition accuracy and performance by improving:
acoustic models, using new data sets
microphone handling
resilience in speech recognition
For Lexia English Educators
We revised Resources Hub content to reflect updates made in the program, including:
updating Digital Listening Lessons for Levels 4, 6, 9, 11, and 15
updating Passage Reference Guide to reflect program passage updates
adding more detailed usage and progress monitoring guidance to District and School Overview resources
adding information to the Teacher's Manual to support new program features and content
We updated Instructional Resources in myLexia, including:
PDF Listening Lessons for Levels 4, 6, 9, 11, and 15, to include new program passage changes

Lexia English
We created a new login screen design to simplify the login experience!
With this update, students and educators now use the same input fields to enter their username or email address and password.
We added your school name and program version to the bottom of the login screen, as well as an image that appears on the login screen, which will rotate based on a set of pre-selected images.
For Lexia English Students
We added select Art Updates throughout the program to enhance Lexia English visually and provide a relatable and engaging learning experience.
We upgraded Character Audio program-wide to ensure a consistent volume and quality of audio.
We changed the Onboarding Animations in the Resources Hub capture the latest updates implemented in Lexia English.
We dimmed the home “indicator” on buttonless iPads for a better visual experience.
We added the option for students to skip task demos in select tasks if they have recently worked in that task type.

Lexia English Resources Hub Updates:
We added a new “Using Lexia English Language Development

Reading In Parallel” document that provides general guidelines for educators using both Lexia English and Core5.
We added many new translations to Lexia English resources:
We added Bengali versions of the General Achievement Certificate, General Home Use Letter, Clever Add-On Letter, Lexia English Parent Report, and Lexia English Visual Guide.
The Speak@Home Newsletters are now available in French, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Haitian-Creole, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, Swahili, Tagalog, Bengali, Chinese, Arabic, Dari, Polish, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Gujarati, Hmong, and Somali.
We created new Speaking Practice Anchor Charts for educators to easily access and utilize each Speaking Practice Lesson Language Frame in Lexia English.
