Student Clever Login Error (For Teachers)

This article explains why students might receive an error when they attempt to log in to Lexia programs with Clever, and what steps to take next.

Applies to: Educators whose students use Clever to log in to a Lexia program (Lexia® Core5® Reading, Lexia® English Language Development™, and/or Lexia® PowerUp Literacy™).

My student(s) can't log in to Lexia with Clever!

If one of your students tried to log in to a Lexia student program with Clever and received this error: “We’re sorry! Your login request with Clever cannot be completed”, it may indicate an issue connecting their Clever account with their Lexia account. Since Clever accounts are managed by your school or district, this is something your school or district technology department will need to look into.

What should I do next?

First, check the Lexia System Status page to see if there are currently any known issues with Clever single sign-on.

If there are no known issues, please reach out to your school or district technology team. It may be helpful to have this information handy:

  • What error message the student is receiving

  • Which Lexia program the student is trying to log in to (Core5, Lexia English, or PowerUp)

Your school or district technology team can troubleshoot to help get your student's Clever account working with Lexia.
