Does an Aspire Course Manager receive a free Aspire license?

Overview

A license set for Aspire is defined by three main things:

• the product configuration

• the number of licenses included in the license set

• the start and end dates of the license set

This article explains the policy for granting licenses to course managers in Aspire, as well as information for logging in as a course manager with a license.

Applies to: Course managers with Owner, License Manager, Cohort Manager, or View Only permission for Lexia Aspire​® Professional Learning.

Does not apply to: Educators who are enrolled in the Lexia® LETRS​®, Lexia® LETRS® for Early Childhood Educators, and/or Lexia® LETRS® for Administrators courses of study.

Do course managers receive a free license?

Course managers do not automatically receive a Aspire license.

A course manager must be granted a license in order to access Aspire content.

A person does not need to access Aspire content in order to be a course manager, so having a license is not necessary to be a course manager. A license is necessary, though if a course manager wishes to access course content.

Logging in as a course managers with a license

A course manager with a license may use the same username to access both course manager features and course content features.
