Lexia’s Fall Science of Reading Week:

Early Readers: Building Strong Foundations

Monday, October 6th, 2025

12:00-1:00pm ET

To kick off events in Lexia’s Fall Science of Reading Week, we invite you to join us for a panel discussion geared specifically for educators working with our youngest learners. Science of reading research has brought us powerful insights into how children develop oral language, foundational skills, and decoding—but we know that translating that into your daily practice takes a lot of planning and strong leadership.

This live session will address:

  • How key early skills—oral language, print concepts, phonemic awareness, and decoding—develop in PreK-3rd grade
  • Classroom strategies that foster skill growth, joyful engagement, and consistent literacy routines
  • Data and resource decisions that allow educators to respond to needs early and equitably
  • The leadership practices that help teachers, families, and systems work together to accelerate literacy

For more information or to register for this event, we invite you to visit this link.

We want to hear from you!

  • What are you most looking forward to during this conversation?
  • What tips do you have for others looking to best support early readers?
  • What questions do you have for other educators looking to strengthen early literacy skills?

Note: If you can’t make it to the live session, register anyway to have the recording sent to you!
