Lexia Customer Spotlight: PowerUp Literacy in Texas

 

Meet Marianne White, a Lexia Advocate, and Reading Intervention teacher at Highlands High School in Texas.  In the video below, Marianne shares her experience with Lexia PowerUp Literacy at her school, and the positive impacts it has had for her students’ literacy skills.

    Love hearing how a veteran reading teacher utilizes the PowerUp program to support her high school students.  I also appreciate her explaining the assets PowerUp provides not only for her students, but for teachers, too.  Students at this level can be difficult to convince they can be successful, especially after years of feeling defeated.  What a blessing to have a teacher like Marianne and program like PowerUp to provide struggling readers the support they need to close literacy gaps.

      This is so inspiring to watch! As a middle school reading specialist using Lexia PowerUp, I see so many of the same wins with my students.

      A lot of my students come in feeling behind, but Lexia helps them build skills and confidence at the same time. It’s like watching them step into their “bejeweled” era as they start to realize what they’re capable of ✨

      I love how data-driven it is while still allowing us to celebrate growth in a big way. The small wins really do turn into big shifts for our students.

      So glad to see PowerUp making an impact in so many places!
