Professional Learning Session Guidelines for Core5, PowerUp, and Lexia English
Overview
Lexia’s synchronous professional learning sessions support implementation leaders and educators in building deep knowledge of our products and programs. Grounded in Adult Learning Theory, these sessions emphasize relevance, collaboration, and practical application to drive meaningful literacy outcomes.
Professional learning is available in two synchronous formats:

Live In-Person
Each session provides dedicated time with a Lexia expert to explore product features, analyze student data and reports, engage in hands-on activities, share best practices, and ask questions in a collaborative environment.

Live Online Session Guidelines

Up to 40 participants per session to ensure high-quality engagement.

Designed for a single audience and run 45–90 minutes, aligned with topics in the Professional Learning Catalog.

Delivered via Zoom.

Recording is not permitted.

Must be requested at least 14 days (2 weeks) in advance to allow time for facilitator assignment and content preparation.
Live In-Person Guidelines

Up to 40 participants per session to ensure high-quality engagement.

Scheduled for up to 7 hours.

Facilitators should have at least 30 minutes for lunch and time for morning and afternoon breaks.

Facilitators may be assigned up to two locations per day, with adequate travel time between sites.

Must be requested at least 21 days (3 weeks) in advance to allow time for facilitator assignment, travel arrangements, and content preparation.
