What is Lexia English Language Development™?
Lexia English is a fun, computer-based program for Emergent Bilinguals in grades K-6. The activities in Lexia English support students’ English language development through conversations with the program’s many characters.

How does Lexia English work?
Students take a brief placement activity and begin the online program at a starting point that is right for them.
Students work in online activities throughout the week. Online activities include instruction, purposeful repetition, and feedback as your learner acquires new skills.
Teachers have access to student progress and performance reports, so that they can see the progress students are making or when assistance is needed.
In addition to the online program, students use paper-and-pencil and hands-on activities for practicing and extending skills.
Teacher-led lessons in speaking and listening are also used to reinforce, practice, and extend the skills learned in the online program.
Students earn achievement certificates when they complete levels. These certificates are a great opportunity to celebrate success and talk about newly-gained skills!
