What is the difference between a Certificate of Completion and a Certificate of Mastery in LETRS?

Overview

As you progress through the Lexia® LETRS® online material, you will receive certificates.

This article explains the difference between a Certificate of Completion and a Certificate of Mastery.

Because LETRS for Administrators does not include assessments, completing this course will always result in a Certificate of Completion. There is no option for a Certificate of Mastery in LETRS for Administrators.

Applies to: Educators who are enrolled in the Lexia® LETRS® or Lexia® LETRS® for Early Childhood Educators courses of study.

Does not apply to: Educators or administrators enrolled in the Lexia® LETRS® for Administrators course of study.

Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion means that you earned a Unit Score of less than 80%.

Certificate of Mastery

A Certificate of Mastery means that you earned a Unit Score of 80% or higher.

For more information on how the Unit Score is calculated, see LETRS: Viewing my Assessment Scores in the Learning Platform.
