Building Foundations with Lexia - 8/4/26 AM

"Building Foundations with Lexia" is the first session in this series that provides district and building leaders with the common language and essential information for the initial "Onboarding" stage of implementation. The session focuses on three critical steps: establishing a collaborative Lexia Leadership Team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities; creating a shared, measurable vision for Lexia that is aligned with instructional priorities and student outcomes; and consistently communicating and refining that vision across all existing channels to ensure full stakeholder awareness and drive long-term instructional change. This 30-minute session is appropriate for leaders using any Lexia program.

Session Objectives:

• Leadership will clearly define team roles and responsibilities for supporting Lexia implementation, ensuring accountability, alignment, and effective communication across all levels.

• Leadership will articulate a shared, district- or school-specific vision for Lexia that clearly defines its purpose, expected impact on student outcomes, and alignment with instructional priorities to drive consistent and meaningful use.

• Leadership will consistently communicate and reinforce the implementation vision using all existing channels to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
