What is included in the Aspire course of study?
Overview
Aspire is organized around two components that take deep, meaningful research and bridge it into practice in the classroom: the Aspire course content and Aspire Bridge to Application resources.
This article describes these two components.
Applies to: Educators who are enrolled in Lexia Aspire® Professional Learning.
Aspire
Aspire includes 31 Courses. Two courses are introductory prerequisites, and two are assessment courses. The other 27 courses are divided between three Domains, with one prerequisite course in each domain.
Each domain contains a Knowledge Check, four to six interactive Modules, and ends with a Check for Understanding quiz.
Aspire Bridge to Application
Each course has Bridge to Application resources that guide educators to transfer what they’ve learned in the course to their classroom. The Bridge to Application resources include lesson templates, activities, and graphic organizers.
Journal Activities
Participants engage with thought-provoking journal activities that promote reflection and inspire real-world application. These interactive prompts encourage learners to connect new insights with their teaching practice, turning theory into action. Participants can access past entries and print or download them.
