Aspire Scope and Sequence
Overview
Lexia Aspire® Professional Learning is a self-paced professional learning program. The program's structure requires participants to complete prerequisite courses and complete Knowledge Checks in order to access the rest of the courses.
This article explains the structure of Aspire and how to access the different types of courses.

What is the structure of Aspire?

The Aspire program is structured as follows:
Two introductory prerequisite courses
Three Domains with nine courses (including a prerequisite course) each
Knowledge Checks at the start of each Domain
A prerequisite course for each Domain
Check for Understanding quizzes at the end of each course
Bridge to Application and classroom resources in each course
An Assessment in Literacy Instruction course, which participants can access after completing the prerequisite courses for all three Domains
A Data to Inform Instruction course, which participants can access after completing the Assessment in Literacy Instruction course
How do I access all Aspire courses?
Complete the two introductory prerequisite courses to access the three Domains.
For each Domain, complete the Knowledge Check and the Domain prerequisite course to access the eight other courses in the Domain.
To access the Assessment in Literacy Instruction course and Data to Inform Instruction course, complete the Knowledge Check and prerequisite courses for all three Domains. The Data to Inform Instruction course becomes available after the Assessment in Literacy Instruction course is complete.
You can only take one Aspire course at a time.
