Here, active participation is not only encouraged but also rewarded through a points-based system. Accumulating points not only helps highlight your contributions and leads to merit badges and elevated ranking levels.

Why Earn Points?

Recognition and Reputation: Points help build your reputation within the community. High point earners are viewed as thought leaders and experts. This also helps us (the Lexia Team) identify advocates and users who we can approach for collaborative efforts.

We are only just embarking on this amazing journey together and what this all looks like is yet to be defined. But we hope to have lots of you engaging and giving us this headache

Ways to Earn Points

The following activities will give you points and make the most out of your community experience:

• Create Valuable Content: By starting a Topic (that is a conversation or question) you will be awarded 15 Points.
• Participate in Discussions: By replying to a topic, you will receive 5 Points
• Provide Solutions: When responding to a question, your reply can be marked as Best Answer. This awards a massive 30 Points
• Engage with Content: Join virtual or in-person community events. Attendance and participation can earn you points and valuable networking opportunities.
• Feedback: By liking content on the community, you will get 1 Point per like given and 2 Points per like received.

Tracking Your Points

Your current points total and position in the community can be viewed in our User Leaderboard.

The default view is your point total and position in the current week. 

You can also view the All Time participant point total. 

You will notice here you can also see the badges awarded to each user.

Now you know how to move up that leaderboard. So go out into the community and get engaging!
