Welcome, Lexia English teachers!
Applies to: Educators who help students log in to Lexia English Language Development.
Just getting started? Here are your four steps to success:
1. Log in to your educator account
To see, create, and manage student accounts, and to see your students’ data once they’ve started using Lexia English, you’ll need to log in to myLexia, Lexia’s educator portal.
Your username is typically your school email address. Log in or reset your password at myLexia.com.
For more information, see: How do I log in to myLexia?
2. Check your class roster
Students will need to have accounts rostered in your school or district’s myLexia site before they can log in to Lexia English.
Find and manage your class on the tab in myLexia. Find your class on the Lexia English tab in myLexia. Make sure that your students are assigned to your myLexia class so that you can track their progress.
Important
Check with your school or district administrator to see if they are planning to roster classes or students for you. Some schools and districts automate rostering, or set up classes and student accounts on a district level.
If your school or district has directed you to create your own classes and/or accounts for students, see the links below for instructions.

3. Help your students log in to Lexia English for the first time
Once your students have accounts set up in myLexia, they can access Lexia English on a computer with a compatible web browser, or an iPad.
Depending on your school or district setup, students will either log directly in to Lexia English or will sign in through a portal (such as Clever).
Teacher email address: Have a teacher email address ready - students may be prompted for a teacher email address the first time they use Lexia English.
-
Direct logins on a web browser: Have students navigate to english.lexialearning.com or to your school or district's custom link for Lexia English. Learn more about custom links.
-
Direct logins on an iPad: Have students open the Lexia English app on the iPad.
-
Portal logins: Have students log in to the single sign-on portal, then select the Lexia English tile.
Important
In schools and districts that use Clever to log in to student programs on iPads, iPads will need to have the Clever app installed in addition to the Lexia English app. To log in, students should open the Clever app.
For additional tips on getting started and login recommendations see Lexia English First Day Checklist and How do Students Log in to Lexia English?
4. Check your students’ data and celebrate their success
Students can access the program independently and work at their own pace. Use your Class Overview in myLexia to see:
-
What is the proficiency level of the content students are currently working on?
-
How much time are students spending on the program each week?
-
How should I prioritize instructional time with students?
