👩🏻 Hi, My name is Andrea S.

🏔 I live in Knoxville, TN, but before moving here almost 12 years ago lived in Alabama for 40 years.

🍎 I was a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher for 22 years before joining the Voyager Sopris Team in July of 2020.

📗📘📙 In 2022, I joined the Customer Success Team at Lexia and now support our state LETRS implementations as a Success Manager. We have an amazing team working alongside our state DOEs to guarantee educators enrolled in any of the 3 LETRS courses are supported throughout their LETRS journey. We are continuously brainstorming ways to increase participant engagement and professional learning completion rates.  The creation of the Lexia Community Center allows leaders and participants a space to go and connect, ask questions and collaborate outside of their schools, districts, and states. This site is another “tool” in our belt as we all work together to increase student literacy outcomes.

Morning Everyone,

Amy from Wisconsin

Literacy Coach at an elementary school that supports Core5, Lexia English and all things literacy related

This is our first year of full implementation

We are celebrating student successes through achievement buttons (yes, old school buttons and the students of all ages love them), certificate celebrations, video celebrations, and students get to select a book and stuffed animal (donations) when then meet their goal! Love celebrating student growth and success with the ultimate goal of achievement by transferring of skills to all areas of literacy.

Have a great day everyone! Snow on the way to our area today….

I am learning how to use this site.

I teach second grade in a Jewish day school.

We teach general studies for two sections.

The classes use Lexia Core 5 in school and at home twice a week for fifteen minutes

When they finish their level, we print their certificate and use their skill-building worksheets in their task folder

Have a great week

Hi! I am new at this; however, excited to learn.  I was a teacher for 19 years and resigned shortly before Covid to homeschool my youngest son.  I went back into education this year (after eight years) as an instructional assistant, in a new state to learn the current trends in education.

This week, I was hired as a lead teacher for lower elementary at a Montessori school, due to a situation.  I know my school LOVES Lexia! I would love to hear any ideas on making the students excited to use it!
